In a speech these days on the Seventh conference of the Fatah stream in Ramallah, Mahmoud Abbas, the chief of Fatah, the PLO, and the Palestinian Authority, praised the generations-lengthy Arab struggle against Israel.
Abbas mentioned the fedayeen who sacrificed their lives, calling them "heroes" and "courageous progressive combatants." The Arab Fedayeen were terrorists who infiltrated Israel to carry our terrorist operations. They operated mainly from Jordan in the 50's and 60's and from Lebanon in the 70's and eighty's.
These "courageous warring parties," spoke of Abbas, have been a "take care of for the Palestinians" in Jordan, Lebanon and the "occupied lands" unless the current "Al-Quds Intifida," (the most contemporary terror wave).
Abbas also called the Arab safety prisoners "heroes," notwithstanding lots of them are serving penitentiary sentences for murdering Israelis in terrorist assaults.
