MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire's Democratic congressional delegation referred to Monday that adjustments to President Donald Trump's revised commute ban nonetheless left them feeling as if it became greater about politics than protection.
U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan spoke of she supported improving the vetting process but did not trust the revised ban would obtain that. She noted that the branch of native land safety's "own evaluation showed no intelligence groundwork for the ban, and former protection and intelligence officials from both events have said that the ban would make us much less protected."

"President Trump is recklessly pursuing a campaign promise at the fee of simple American values and our security," Shaheen spoke of. "The Trump administration's determination to lengthen this revised ban with the intention to maximize wonderful press insurance sends a clear message that this directive is about politics, not country wide protection."
U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter referred to as the revised ban "outrageous, immoral, and unconstitutional" while U.S. Rep. Ann Kuster mentioned the ban "does nothing to improve the defense of the American people."
"Our nation may still function a beacon of hope all over the world and this inaccurate government motion will alienate the very individuals who we need as our companions in the combat against world terrorism," she mentioned. "we are able to keep our protection through thorough and stringent vetting without forfeiting our values."
