The Indian army has taken start of two M777A2 ultra-mild howitzers, the Indian Ministry of Defence introduced on 18 may.
The weapons will now be put via a trials process to put together them for induction, the use of 155mm indigenous ammunition.
The Indian executive is acquiring 145 M777s below a foreign defense force sale with the united states agreed in November 2016.
Three greater weapons are scheduled to be bought in September 2018 for working towards, with induction to start from March 2019 on the cost of 5 weapons per thirty days unless the finished consignment is received by means of mid-2021.
