SNP MP Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh has already made a case for the ban earlier today, saying because Mr Trump would ban her from the US just because she is a Muslim, she will also attempt to ban him from the UK.
David Cameron's official spokeswoman said the Prime Minister's view was unchanged since he told the House of Commons last month that Mr Trump's comments on Muslims were "divisive, stupid and wrong" but that he did not think he should be banned from the country.
However, the debate will not be put to a vote as the decision to ban Mr Turmp will ultimately come down to Home Secretary Theresa May.
