Hilary Benn, the shadow foreign secretary who remained in post despite intense speculation he would be sacked, was also present.
In the last week Michael Dugher, the shadow culture secretary, was sacked and Catherine McKinnell, the shadow attorney general, resigned from her post.
Mr Corbyn attempted to draw a line under the changes on Monday during an appearance on BBC Radio Four’s Today programme.
The Labour leader said: "A reshuffle is never easy. And there is never a good time to do it. We have a shadow cabinet that is strong. We have a team which is strong.
“We have widened the shadow cabinet to represent the diversity of the country and the Parliamentary Labour Party. I am happy with it. We are moving on."
