While the Apple Watch isn’t the focus of the company’s press event, executives did offer some updates — they showed off new bands and other accessories, and they also announced a new entry-level price of $299.
Now, if you wanted to get an Apple Watch for less than Apple’s price of $349, you could already do so thanks to sales at places like Best Buy and Target. This, however, marks a $50 reduction in the company’s official price.
And of course, that’s just the starting price — you’ll need to pay more for for higher-end models and bands.
