Jeremy Corbyn’s twitter account seemed to have hacked on Sunday night with a string of rude messages appearing on it.
The first tweet, sent around 9pm, said: “Here we go… here we go… here we f***ing go!!!”
It was followed up seconds later with three more: “Davey Cameron is a pie”, “f*** trident” and “straya (sic) c****”.
The treats were quickly deleted but provoked much amusement on twitter.
Gordon - @impurethots – wrote: “Jeremy Corbyn wasn’t hacked he’s just steamin (sic).”
While A1 - @GriezLad – wrote: “Jeremy Corbyn’s Twitter account has been hacked. He’s just delete (sic) these tweets. The second one has me in tears.”
